Monte Cassino 6th Grader Wins Tie-Off Competition

Preliminary rounds were hosted in students' Advisory Groups. In the Middle School Gym, the winning students of each round faced off against the adult staff members in a tie-off to see who could properly tie a necktie in the shortest time. Mr. Russell, Carly Carver (our Middle School Librarian), and 8th-grader Giavanna D'Antonio were the finalists, with Mr. Russell taking home the trophy, the Golden Tie Award and a dozen Dunkin' Donuts to share with his Advisory Group.
